Pipes 'R Us

The water system has been ripped out, with the solitary copper tank left for scrap. There is an old lead tank in the attic, however, we may leave this for the next renovation team, in another 50 years’ time! Meanwhile, half the wall in the attic has been ripped out to make room for the new boiler and hot water storage tank. It’s a big project, but the plumber is completely chilled. With the quiet demeanour of someone who’s been around the block a few times and experienced most plumbing challenges first-hand, the guy is just the right kind of character for this project. A lateral thinker, with a real understanding of what the client wants, he’s one of the key pieces in the big jigsaw which will make this project work out pretty smoothly, or go belly up quicker than you can say Enron.
