"Dizzy" stands down


The large cement mixer has been moved off site, so the large-scale work of the brickies is coming to an end. Over the last couple of days, screed rails - which will ensure the garage floor stays level once the concrete is poured - and additional damp-proof protection have been installed. The "tanking" is tar-based and will keep water and dampness from creeping inside the building. And with 100mm insulation fitted into floor void of the utility space, the team is ready for the floor concrete to be poured tomorrow.
