Hard workers

Despite the trials and tribulations over the problems of cutting holes in Swedish stainless steel sinks; hooking-up German mixer taps, geared for 10mm Continental pipes, to 15mm copper pipes; to coring a 100mm hole through a 300mm thick concrete wall for the extractor hood, I have never seen more dedicated tradesmen.

Starting promptly at 09:00 on Tuesday, they've finished around 20:00 hours every night. The exception was last night, when they packed it in at minutes away from midnight. Now, what's the likelihood of getting any individual to work beyond 16:00 on a Friday, let alone writing-off their entire Friday evening? This morning, they were back at 09:00! That's dedication - and the harsh realities of self-employment.
