Concrete and steel

Site meeting tomorrow @ 11:00 so we'll, hopefully, get an update on how the team is proposing to recover some of the delays.

More importantly, we need to ensure it doesn't slip any further.

Today, the bases of the new manholes have been filled with concrete, which will allow easy access for maintenance. More soil has been taken off-site and heavy gauge steel mesh, which will be used to strengthen the concrete floor, has been delivered. Vertical steel rods, to provide further strength and stability, have also been inserted into the ground.
