WEEK 4 - All men to the pumps (Mk 2)

Another week - another slice of the action! At the start of Week 3, the team had to pump out significant volumes of water after heavy rainfall. Today, we could have seen some reverse action with the fire brigade filling the house with foam and water. At 08:47, the fire alarm was triggered and within five minutes, we had a fire engine and crew on the doorstep, ready for action.

Luckily, it was a false alarm, triggered by fumes and exhaust from the now infamous petrol waterpump seeping into the house. Having ticked-off the construction team for allowing this get into the house, the fire crew insisted on classifying the property as a "place of worship" and took a bit convincing it was an ordinary house. Later it turned out that the emergency call-out record listed the contact name as "Christian" and assumed this was the official description of the property itself. We've now added a "Mr" to the alarm company's records to avoid any future confusion...
