Ultimate recycling

It was certainly worth the trek. After the plumber having dismissed the idea of selling the old hot water tank for scrap, because "you would only get a tenner", I carted the now defunct tank off to the scrap merchant. Weighing in at 43kg - they're normally around 12 according to the guy at the weigbridge - they swiftly coughed-up £86 for the old cylinder. A huge return for not much effort. I'm off to strip the lagging from the old copper pipes...
