Start -7 days


One week to go and the garages have been emptied! The lawnmover and associated gardening paraphernalia is safely locked away in a spanking new storage box - alarmed and secured with the latest technology and gaffer tape - and the rest is relocated to the dining room. The fact that the dining room now smells like a garage is a bit of a problem…

Insurance still proving tricky. We now have three different brokers on the case. Big ugly one (one of the animal libs' least favourite companies and famous for the financial creativity of its board of directors) - odds 100:1; would-be market leading specialist broker - odds 25:1; and our favourite - local broker with a real passion to look after its clients (they return your calls and answer your emails) - odds 2:1.
