Solid as a rock

We've had to wait for six weeks but the cast iron drain pipes have finally arrived. A cause of major frustration for the plumber, as PVC pipes are a lot quicker to fit, they've spent the last two days knocking holes in the wall of the en-suite and connecting it all together. The architect took the view cast iron was non-negotiable and we now have a waste pipe big and solid enough to support a very large house single, let alone a single WC and small basin.
